EVERY image you see on this page as well as our other pages and flyers, are local area seniors, WE have photographed. Don't fall for the brochures and website photos you see from the school photography companies, which are usually models hired to be photographed by the "chief" photographer, usually in another state. The poses you will usually receive look nothing like what you saw there! These are all local seniors and these are just part of their regular sitting with us. So, "what you see, is what You'll get"!
Unlike the big companies, that may schedule 100 seniors a day, and make you wait for sometimes HOURS, we never overbook or double book - and we set aside up to TWO hours (depending on sitting chosen), just for you. Unlike them, we don't go to the school and set up a makeshift shooting area in the back of the auditorium, or cafeteria, and you have to run to the bathroom or behind a sheet to change - we have a REAL 5,000 sq ft studio, with 2 camera rooms, dozens of backgrounds, a 3 acre "studio back-lot" behind our studio, which goes to the lake. - and your own private REAL dressing room! Because we only book 2-3 sittings day, and only ONE at a time, we do ask for a deposit to guarantee your time. This does go towards your order, and is refundable if you need to cancel, at least 48 hours in advance.
Unlike the big companies at school, who usually use the same dull background or 2, and do the same 2-3 poses on every senior, we have many many backgrounds like you see, and we make almost all our backgrounds here - and we constantly change them, so you'll mostly likely have a "one of a kind creation". You will never see most of our backgrounds anywhere in the world!
We invite you to bring several changes of clothing (which the big companies now subtly discourage seniors to do much more than the outfit they came in!). Unlike them, we also ENCOURAGE you to bring things to show your lifestyle and your life story for thee last 12 years - such as pets, hobbies, sports stuff, musical instruments, your car, bike, surfboard, skateboard, or almost anything else you'd like!
And Also UNLIKE them, we have a nice cool AIR-CONDITIONED studio in the summertime! We hear horror stories of students who went to the school for their portraits in the summer, and the school turned OFF the AC! Not here! We have icycles hanging from our ceiling! (lol well will feel like it, but we want you to be cool and comfortable, not hot and sweating! )
